Child Protection


The Dominican Province of St. Joseph is committed to the protection of children and young and has established the Affirming and Protecting Children and Young People Program (APCYP Program) for this task.  Our APCYP Program is in compliance with the standards established by the Conference of Major Superiors of Men and is fully accredited by Presidium Religious Services, Inc. All candidates for membership in the Province undergo extensive screening and criminal background checks and are thoroughly trained in safe environment practices. The province encourages anyone who has been a victim of sexual misconduct to make a report to the appropriate law enforcement agencies and has a policy to report all allegations of which we become aware.
