Andrew Hofer, O.P., to Deliver Preaching Workshop

On October 30th, the Liturgical Institute in Mundelien, IL, is offering a one-day preaching workshop for priests and deacons featuring Andrew Hofer, O.P., Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies, Washington DC. Workshop leader Fr. Andrew Hofer, OP earned his doctorate in Theology from the University of Notre Dame in 2010 after assignments in parish ministry and missionary work. Since that time, he has taught courses in patristics, systematic theology and preaching at the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, DC, where he also serves as the Master of Students for the Province of St. Joseph. His publications include Christ in the Life and Teaching of Gregory of Nazianzus (Oxford University Press, 2013), the edited collection Divinization: Becoming Icons of Christ through the Liturgy (Hillenbrand Books, 2015), and articles in journals such as Augustinianum, Vigiliae Christianae, International Journal of Systematic Theology, Pro Ecclesia, Nova et Vetera and The Thomist. He is currently at work on a book tentatively entitled Patristic Preaching: The Word Becoming Flesh.
