The Cross and Consecrated Life

The Dominican House of Studies will be offering a Lenten conference series entitled Made Perfect Through Suffering: The Cross and Consecrated Life.  Each Wednesday during Lent, a friar will examine the role of the cross in the teachings of a saintly mendicant.   March 4  Br. Timothy Danaher, O.P.,  St. Francis of Assisi: The Poor and Happy Way of the Cross March 11  Br. Irenaeus Dunlevy, O.P., St. Catherine de Ricci: The Counsel of the Cross March 18  Br. Thomas Martin Miller, O.P., St. Benedict Joseph Labre: Tramping with the Cross March 25  Br. Edmund McCullough, O.P., St. John of the Cross: Night Ascent   After the talks, visitors are invited to join the community for Compline in the priory’s chapel.   Wednesdays at 8:00pm Dominican House of Studies 487 Michigan Ave. NE Washington, D.C. 20017
