Blackfriars Repertory Theater in the news

The Washington Post recently drew attention to an upcoming production of sponsored by the Blackfriars Repertory Theatre and the Storm Theatre Company. Founded in 1940 by the Dominican friars Urban Nagle and Thomas Carey, the Blackfriars Repertory Theatre is presently administered by Fr. Peter John Cameron, O.P. In January, the two companies will present “Gigi” by Anita Loos, a play that featured a young Audrey Hepburn in its original 1951 performance.
