Three Years and One Million Views for Dominicana Blog
October 29, 2014
Dominicana, an apostolate of the studentate of the Province of St. Joseph, recently received the 1,000,000th visit to its online blog. Begun in 1916 as a print journal published by the student brothers at the Dominican House of Studies, Dominicana was released quarterly until 1968. In Spring 2011, the print journal was revived, and has subsequently been published on a biannual basis. On September 14, 2011, the Dominicana blog was started as an additional medium of publication. Over the past three years, the blog has published almost nine hundred posts, ranging from essays on faith, culture, and liturgy to posts on hobbits, hobos, and House of Cards.
Please keep the student brothers in your prayers as they continue to engage in apostolic endeavors as part of their formation to be contemplative preachers of the Word. If you would like to support their work, subscribe to the Dominicana Journal or make a donation for the education and formation of our young friars.
