Magnificat Lauded at 2014 Catholic Press Awards

The daily prayer companion Magnificat received a wide variety of accolades at the 2014 Catholic Press Awards, including first place for General Excellence in a prayer and spirituality magazine. In total, Magnificat received eleven awards. They are: Best Original Poetry: Second Place, “The Poem “Herod’s Lament”” by Rita A. Simmonds Individual Excellence, Editor: Honorable Mention, Peter John Cameron, O.P. Coffee-Table Book: First Place, Splendors of the Creed by Joseph T. Lienhard, S.J. and Frédéric Curnier-Laroche Best Cover: Honorable Mention, Magnificat July Issue by Peter John Cameron, O.P.
