May 21, 2014
Blackfriars Media is preparing to premier its new film, NaPro: A Quiet Revolution, on Saturday, June 7, working in collaboration with NYU film students and representatives from the pro-life and family planning communities. NaPro: A Quiet Revolution documents the new developments in family planning technology made possible by NaPro, a sophisticated system of cycle regulation arising out of the awareness that a woman’s fertility is a gift and a sign of her health, not a condition to be medicated. The project also exposes the scientific weaknesses and medical-care problems arising fomr the pharmaceutical and IVF industry. NaPro: A Quiet Revolution is directed and edited by John Fisher, and edited, colored, and designed by A. Joshua Vargas. The premier will begin with a free cocktail and hors d’oeuvres hour before the screening and conclude with Q&A with one of the documentary’s contributors, Dr. Anne Nolte, MD, CFCMC. A mass will also be offered at 6:00pm for those interested in attending. RSVP not required for mass, but seating to the film’s premier is limited. Secure your seats here.
