Recovering Causality Conference Open to Public
May 14, 2014
The Angelicum’s Recovering Causality conference has been opened to the general public, in addition to Dominican Friars. See the complete schedule and information for the conference below. The colloquium seeks to gather an international team of scholars, both young and mature, in order to study the key notion of causality from the perspective of multiple disciplines. The colloquium will consider a wide range of major issues, including the dialogue between Thomistic cosmology and contemporary natural science, historical issues concerning the texts of Aquinas or the Thomistic tradition, speculative metaphysical problems, as well as issues related to the humanity of Christ and the sacraments as instrumental causes of grace. All talks will be given in either Italian or English, without translation. The Colloquium is open to the general public. Participants are kindly requested to contribute a donation of 30 euro for the 3-day event. Those interested in attending the conference should contact Bernhard Blankenhorn, O.P., prefetto.biblio@pust.it, Pontifical University of Saint Thomas Aquinas Largo Angelicum, 1, 00184 Roma, Italia.
