May 7, 2014

A replica of the miraculous icon of Our Lady of Czestochowa will be brought to St. Gertrude’s parish in Cincinnati, Ohio on Friday, May 10, as part of a worldwide pilgrimage asking for Mary’s intercession in defense of human life. The icon has been traveling for almost two years and has covered forty thousand miles, beginning in Vladivostok, Russia, passing through many countries all over Europe, and soon to arrive in Ohio. The icon’s globe-encircling journey is part of the From Ocean to Ocean Pilgrimage organized by Human Life International. For more information about the icon and its visit to Cincinnati, see the St. Gertrude’s website here.
