Lenten Retreat Talks Now Online

The audio recordings of the 2014 men’s lenten retreat talks from Chris Saliga, O.P., are now available online from Sacred Heart Radio. See below for more information. The retreat, which was held March 7-9 of this year, was called “Listen to me! Go and make disciples of all nations!” It was attended by sixty men from the greater Cincinnati area. Making Disciples of All Nations The retreat leader, Fr. Chris, is the assistant novice master for the Dominican Province of St. Joseph at St. Gertrude Priory, Cincinnati, Ohio. Prior to this he was as a campus minister for the Aquinas House Catholic Student Center, Dartmouth College. Fr. Chris has had a variety of experiences including an 18-month missionary assignment in Kenya’s Nyanza Province. He was Chaplain of Walsh University in North Canton, Ohio where he also taught philosophical bioethics, having previously served as health care chaplain and ethicist with the Dominican Friars Health Care Ministry of New York, Saint Catherine of Siena Church, occasionally assisting in Catholic campus ministry at Columbia University. Prior to joining the Dominican Order in 1998, Fr. Chris served as a U.S. Army combat medic and paratrooper and later as a U.S. Navy nurse corps officer.
