First Lenten Conference: Temptation

The 2014 Dominican Lenten Conference Series from the Student Brothers at the Dominican House of Studies begins this Sunday with a conference on the theme of temptation. This year’s conferences, entitled In the Desert with Jesus, concentrates on the major dynamics of the desert spirituality that marks the time of preparation for Easter, in addition to times in the Christian life as a whole: Temptation, Fasting, Alsmgiving, and Prayer. This talk and all the subsequent talks in the series will be held at two locations: In Washington, D.C., at the Dominican House of Studies (487 Michigan Ave NE), and in Charlottesville, Virginia, at St. Thomas Aquinas University Parish (401 Alderman Rd). The Washington talk will be on Sunday evening at 7:30 P.M., and the Charlottesville talk will be on Sunday morning at 10:30 A.M.
