Friars to be Ordained to Transitional Diaconate

The Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph joyfully announce the ordination of eight of their Brothers to the transitional diaconate on March 8, 2014. After this ordination, there will be 16 transitional deacons at the Dominican House of Studies. Thomas More Garrett, O.P. John Maria Devaney, O.P. Boniface Endorf, O.P. Gabriel Joseph Torretta, O.P. Innocent Vincent Smith, O.P. Charles Shonk, O.P. Vincent Ferrer John Bagan, O.P. Philip Neri Jordan Reese, O.P. The ordaining prelate will be the Most Rev. Daniel E. Thomas, Auxiliary Bishop of Philadelphia. The ordination will be held on Saturday, March 8, 2014, at 10:30 in the morning, at the Priory of the Immaculate Conception, 487 Michigan Avenue NE, Washington, D.C.
