In the video below, Angelicum professor Fr. Bernard Blankenhorn, OP, of the Province of the Holy Name (Western Province), speaks on the Gift of Understanding, one of the the seven gifts of the Holy Spirit.  Fr. Bernard compared St. Thomas’s approach to that given by the great neoplatonic theologian who wrote under the name Dionysius.  This talk was given as part of the recent conference on Dominicans and the Renewal of Thomism held at the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception.
