Priestly First Blessings

There exists in the Church a long and venerable tradition of seeking out the first blessing of a newly ordained priest. In the Province of St. Joseph, it has become our custom for the newly ordained to offer their blessings to the faithful immediately following the celebration of the Mass of Ordination. It also often coincides with the indulgence gained at participating in the first Mass of a new priest.
