Stumbling Blocks to Wisdom: Overcoming Obstacles to Belief with St. Dominic and St. Peter Martyr

July 18, 2012

This summer, two Dominican student brothers, Br. Joachim Kenney, O.P. and Br. Raymund Snyder, O.P., have produced a series that uses the wisdom of the Dominican saints to respond to some of the contemporary problems associated with belief in God.  Using the lives and writings of eight of the greatest saints of the Order of Preachers, the brothers address topics such as the meaning of life, the nature of the soul, the power of prayer, and the relationship between faith and science.  The first two of these lectures, Does Life have Meaning? The Witness of St. Peter Martyr and Are we just Angels Trapped in Bodies? St. Dominic and Dualism, are available below.  The remaining videos will be posted throughout the month.
