Br. Leo Checkai, O.P.During the weeks following the Octave of Easter, the Church reads passages each day from Book of Revelation in the Office of Readings. As an aid to understanding the prophetic language and context of the Book of Revelation, Br. Leo Checkai, O.P. has composed an introductory series of blog posts titled “Opening the Book of Revelation.” This series originally appeared on the Dominicana blog during Advent 2011, and is now available in a collected form as an aid to praying with the Church during this Easter season. Br. Leo Checkai, O.P., entered the Order of Preachers in 2007 after graduating from the University of Maryland. He pronounced his solemn vows in August 2011.
