From the Novitiate: 3/4 of the Way Through

I am at St. Gertrude Priory with a vocation candidate. We have been touring around Ohio visiting our parishes. Tomorrow we head back for our vocation weekend.

As a Dominican novice, Lent can be a rough time to pass through.  But God’s grace is in super abundance, so it also can be a time for great growth.  

Here are three of our novices after compline in St. Gertrude priory.  Every novice these days seems to resemble a CFR – they all have beards which I would guess will come off when our Lord Rises!  

Please say a prayer for them that they will persevere.
