ANNOUNCING THE DOMINICAN ROSARY PILGRIMAGE!
The Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph are happy to announce something new for 2023: The Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage in Washington, D.C. on Saturday, September 30th at the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception. The Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage is a national pilgrimage celebrating the Rosary on the Vigil of Rosary Sunday 2023. For centuries the Order of Preachers has been sharing the power of praying the Holy Rosary and tradition tells us that it was received by St. Dominic from Mary, the Mother of God. The Holy Rosary walks (and prays!) through the life, death and resurrection of our savior, Jesus Christ. Wherever the Rosary is prayed and promoted to the faithful, as Mary has commended mankind to do during many of her approved apparitions of the last two centuries, vice is quelled and virtue blossoms.
This full-day event is hosted by the Dominican Friars of the Province of St. Joseph and welcomes Dominican Friars, Dominican Sisters, members of the Rosary Confraternity, and everyone who wants to come from across the country. The Dominican Rosary Pilgrimage begins (spiritually) with a nine month novena starting on January 30, 2023. We will be updating you regularly as we lead up to this great gathering to pray and celebrate the rosary. Mark your calendars now and join us in praying the nine month novena and sign up for updates, articles, and videos at www.rosarypilgrimage.org
