Cardinal Wuerl Addresses Graduates in Washington, DC

May 15, 2018

On Friday, May 11, Cardinal Wuerl, Archbishop of Wasington, addressed the graduating Dominican friars, religious, clerical and lay students of the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, DC. In his remarks to the graduates, Cardinal Wuerl spoke of his empathy for the Order of Preachers and how it “from the beginning recognized the need to bring the Gospel into the context of the existential situation.” He reflected on two points: “connectedness to the Church’s great theological tradition” and “the pastoral challenge of accompaniment.” For more about the graduation, click here.

Congratulations to the graduates! May their studies continue to bear fruit for the Church.
