Advent lectures on Consecrated Life by Fr. Reginald Lynch, O.P.

Pope Francis has announced a Year of Consecrated Life beginning this Advent to deepen our appreciation of consecrated religious life as a gift to the entire Church. Responding to this invitation, Fr. Reginald Lynch, O.P. of St. Patrick’s Parish in Columbus, OH will offer a two-part series of lectures on the consecrated life. The lectures will cover aspects of the history of religious life, the nature of a religious vocation, and the relevance of consecrated life in relation to other vocations in the Church, such as priesthood and marriage and family. The lectures will take place at 7 p.m. on Thursday, December 11, and Thursday, December 18, in Aquinas Hall at St. Patrick’s Parish, 280 N. Grant Ave., Columbus, OH 43215.
