True Devotion to Mary in Cincinnati

August 6, 2014

St. Gertrude’s Parish in Cincinnati, Ohio, will begin a nine-month-long study group exploring St. Louis de Montfort’s True Devotion to Mary, beginning August 26 and ending on May 26. True Devotion to Mary was one of St. Louis de Montfort’s most influential works, written in 1712 and published for the first time in 1843. Since its nineteenth-century publication, it has been a tremendous favorite of popular piety, beloved by saints like St. John Paul II and St. Teresa of Calcutta in addition to countless members of the faithful. The True Devotion study group will meet twice a month at two different locations in St. Gertrude’s: Tuesdays from 12:30 to 2:30 P.M. in the St. Gertrude Parish Center Lobby, and Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:30 A.M. in the St. Margaret of York room. For more information about the study group, see the St. Gertrude’s website here.
