Signs, Symbols, and Sokolowski

January 2, 2014

On Thursday, January 30, at 7 P.M., the Thomistic Institute will host Msgr. Robert Sokolowski of the Catholic University of America for a lecture on “The Truth of Things in Words and Pictures.” The talk is part of the Thomistic Institute‘s ongoing Thomistic Circle series of lectures and conferences exploring contemporary and perduring issues from a Thomistic perspective. Msgr. Sokolowski’s talk explores the perennial question of how (and whether) signs convey meaning, and what the answer to this question has to say about how men communicate to each other and to God. The lecture will be held at the Dominican House of Studies in Washington, D.C., at 487 Michigan Ave NE. The event is free and open to the public. Click here for a printable flier.
