March for Life Events at the Dominican House of Studies
January 17, 2014
The forty-first March for Life is almost upon us. On Wednesday, January 22, 2014, a great crowd will gather on the National Mall for the world’s largest pro-life event. In preparation for this important day, the Dominicans in D.C. are hosting a number of activities that all are welcome to attend. On Tuesday, January 21, the Dominican friars at the Dominican House of Studies (487 Michigan Ave NE) will celebrate Night Prayer shortly after the ending of the Vigil Mass for Life at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. On Wednesday, January 22, the Dominican student brothers will lead a holy hour from 6 A.M. to 7 A.M. with songs and preaching, to conclude the night-long vigil of adoration begun after the vigil mass. A mass at the Dominican House of Studies will be celebrated shortly afterwards, at 8:00 A.M. For a complete schedule of events, see the Dominican House of Studies website here.
