Esolen on Artistic Genesis

The fifth installment of the Art of the Beautiful series will be delivered by Anthony Esolen on January 25 at the Catholic Center at NYU, on the subject “Love and Artistic Genesis.” Anthony Esolen teaches Renaissance English Literature at Providence College, is the senior editor of Touchstone magazine, and writes regularly for Magnificat and other publications. He has translated the Divine Comedy (available from Random House), and written a number of books, in addition to his many speaking engagements. The Art of the Beautiful series is co-sponsored by the Thomistic Institute and the Catholic Artists Society. Professor Esolen’s talk will be on January 25 at 7:30 P.M. at the NYU Catholic Center at 238 Thompson St., NY, NY, followed by Compline. The event is free and open to the public.
