New Website Launch

The Dominican friars of the Province of St. Joseph are proud to announce the launch of a new vocations website, Vocations.OPEast.org. Vocations.OPEast.org provides complete content for people interested in the Dominican Order, whether they are curious visitors looking to learn more about St. Dominic and his charism, or whether they are men looking to apply. The current website replaces the former vocations blog (orderofpreachersvocations.blogspot.com) with more material, a new look, and a more usable interface. The new site is a companion to the Province of St. Joseph’s new website for news and events, opeast.org. The two sites provide a wide range of resources and information regarding the current activities of the friars, with dominicanfriars.org continuing to provide stable content about the nature and history of the Province and Dominican life. Current vocations news appears on the “Featured News” feed on the front page; the right-hand side featured tab highlights the next vocations weekend. Find older articles and posts on the “Blog” tab of the site; the other header links direct to stable content about the Dominican Order and the nature of vocation in the Dominican context.
