Rev. Brian Shanley, OP, President of Providence College, awards an honorary doctor of religious education degree to Rev. Robert E. Barron. Providence College, a ministry of the Province of St. Joseph, recently held its 95th Commencement Exercise at the Dunkin’ Donuts Center in Providence, RI. The Commencement speaker was Fr. Robert Baron, founder of Word on Fire Ministries and creator of the Catholicism documentary series recently aired on PBS. The College also bestowed on Fr.
