Building up the Church in Youngstown

The Catholic Exponent, the official newspaper of the Diocese of Youngstown, recently highlighted the new parish center building project at St. Dominic Parish in Youngstown, OH: “Dominican Father Greg Maturi, pastor and prior at Youngstown St. Dominic Parish, stands in front of the Parish Hall/Friars Hall being built in what was formerly the parish parking lot. Ground was broken April 25, work by Murphy Contracting began in July, and completion is scheduled for late February, 2013. The floor has been completed and steel tresses have been unloaded. The hall is part of the ongoing effort by Father Maturi and St. Dominic parishioners to revitalize the south side of Youngstown.”
