Vocation Stories: Fr. Allan White, O.P.

Watch the video below of Fr. Allan White, O.P. sharing his vocation story. Fr. White was born in London and entered the Dominican Order in 1973, after completing his university studies at Oxford. He was serving as the Master of the Order’s Socius (assistant), responsible for the Order in northwest Europe and Canada. Fr. Allan has been ministering to the parish of Saint Joseph and the New York University members. Fr. Allan has previously served as university chaplain, seminary lecturer and taught in the universities of Oxford and Cambridge as well as editing New Blackfriars. He also served as Provincial of the English Dominican Province and President of the Organisation of European Dominican Provincials. Fr. Allan holds a doctorate in theology and church history from the University of Edinburgh, as well as a summa cum laude Lector in Sacred Theology degree from Blackfriaris, Oxford.W [vimeo http://www.vimeo.com/39828948 w=500&h=281]
