Fr. Thomas Petri, O.P. recently composed an article commenting on the new translation of the Roman Missal. Fr. Petri notes especially the new General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM), the permitted adaptions in the missal, the rearrangement of the prefaces in the Mass, the layout of the Eucharistic Prayers, the addition of musical notations with the prayers, and the changing of prayers the priest would have memorized.
