“Christian Marriage: Nature and Sacrament”

On October 21 & 22, 2011 the Thomistic Circles Conference, “Christian Marriage: Nature and Sacrament,” will be held at the Pontifical Faculty of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.. This conference will address a variety of philosophical and theological topics related to marriage, family, sexuality and culture by recourse to Thomistic anthropology and natural law theory. Thus, it will be of particular draw for those interested in the speculative and moral issues relevant to this sacrament in the contemporary period. The Fall 2011 Thomistic Circles Conference will be a dynamic engagement with issues both old and new from the perennial insight and wisdom found in the thought of St. Thomas Aquinas.
