We Honor Clement

The Life and Works of a First Century Pope
St. Clement was one of the earliest bishops of Rome. We ask for his intercession in the first Eucharist prayer (the Roman Canon: “We honor Linus, Cletus Clement…”) and 13 of his successors took his name for their papacy. Who is the man that succeeded Peter and led the Church through the turn of the first century? In this video, Br. Clement Dickie, O.P., looks at the life and death of his patron saint, this Father of the Church. This talk was given on July 12, 2011 as a part of the Summer Lecture series at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church in Zanesville, OH.
