Word to Life Podcast: Episode 2

This week for the second episode of the newly minted Word to Life Podcast, we are joined by Fr. Stan Fortuna, CFR. Fr. Stan is a founding member of the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal based in the Archdiocese of New York since 1987 when given original approval to start by John Cardinal O’Connor, then Archbishop of New York. The CFRs (as they are commonly called) are celebrating their recent news from the Holy See that their order had been elevated to Pontifical Rite, meaning that they now have an autonomy through the universal Roman Catholic Church to establish themselves where ever they are welcomed by the local bishop. Fr. Stan and Fr. John from the SiriusXM studios in Manhattan delve into Jesus’ great homily, the Sermon on the Mount by commenting on the Beatitudes.
