New CD of music for the Immaculate Conception

Ave Maria - Cover ArtThe Schola of the Priory of the Immaculate Conception (Dominican House of Studies), Washington, DC, recently released a new CD titled Ave Maria: Dominican Chant for the Immaculate Conception. This CD features chants composed from the middle ages through the late nineteenth century in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The CD was recorded in the hauntingly beautiful acoustic space of the Franciscan Monastery of the Holy Land in Washington, DC. The music was edited, directed, sung and recorded by Dominican friars from the Priory of the Immaculate Conception under the musical leadership of Fr.
