Meekness

Fr. Matthew Powell, O.P., a professor of theatre at Providence College, recently produced a recording of the poem “Meekness” by Theodore Maynard. Theodore Maynard (1890-1956), born in India to English Salvation Army missionaries, converted to Catholicism and became a member of the Third Order of Saint Dominic. He went on to teach at various American universities and wrote poetry, biography and history which included a history of American Catholicism and a life of Mother Rose Hawthorne.     https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W1v6RXqY0Jg
