July 11, 2014

The Thomistic Institute’s annual conference for diocesan priests concluded yesterday in Nashville, Tennessee, after three days of study and prayer on the theme “The Priest as Disciple of Christ and Alter Christus.” The conference was held at the Fleming Center of the Cathedral of the Incarnation. The principal speakers for the conference were Allan White, O.P., Frederick J. Miller, Thomas Joseph White, O.P., Guy Mansini, O.S.B., and Gabriel O’Donnell, O.P. This summer’s conference is the third in the Thomistic Institute’s annual series, all of which have worked to provide practical, relevant wisdom for diocesan priests, informed by the riches of the Thomistic tradition. In addition to liturgies, lectures, and roundtable discussions, the conference included time for rest and fraternity among the attendees.
