Ordinations in Eastern Africa

On Saturday, April 5, five brothers of the Eastern African Vicariate were ordained, three to the diaconate and two to the priesthood. The newly ordained are photographed above with their ordaining prelate. From left to right the brothers are Thomas Nicholas Odhiambo, O.P., (priesthood); Apollinaire Bertrand Ndjana Tsanga, O.P., (diaconate) [Equatorial Africa Vicariate]; Raphael Pio Gitonga Akotha, O.P., (diaconate); Emmanuel Mutisya Mulu, O.P., (diaconate); and Leo Simon Itabari Mwenda, O.P., (priesthood).
