Five Upcoming Ordinations in Eastern Africa

The Dominican friars of the Eastern African vicariate recently announced the upcoming ordinations of five of their brothers, two to the priesthood and three to the diaconate. Leo Simon Itabari Mwenda, O.P., and Thomas Nicholas Odhiambo, O.P., will be ordained to the priesthood; Raphael Pio Gitonga Akotha, O.P., A. Bertrand Ndjana Tsanga, O.P., and Emmanuel Mutisya Mwana’a Mulu, O.P., will be ordained to the diaconate. The ordination will be held on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at 10:00 A.M., at St. John the Evangelist Parish in Karen, Nairobi. Bishop Salesius Mugambi of Meru will be the ordaining prelate.
